Famous video creating and sharing app Tik Tok will be banned in Pakistan|Prime Minister Order
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is supposedly all set block video creating and sharing app in Pakistan upon the request of a man from Nowshera.
Now the government is planning to block Tik Tok in Pakistan after a citizen, belonging to Nowshera district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, filed a complaint against the social media app on Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Citizen Portal App. He claims that the app calling it a ‘social ill’.
The man demanded to block Tik Tok in the country. The identity of the citizen who filed complaint on Pakistan Citizen Portal App identity has been kept secret.
Just like the social media app Musical.ly, Tik Tok gained much popularity in 2017 after its merger with the Musical.ly and in 2018 it becomes one of the most popular applications in the world downloaded on iPhone and Android devices allows users to create and remix short videos. Both Tik Tok and Musical.ly are owned by Chinese firm Bytedance.
In Pakistan the social media app Tik Tok is used by a large number of people who spend much of their time in making videos and sharing with friends in order to get more likes and comments.
Many people, not unlike the ma belonging from Nowshera, believe that TikTok, with its addicting nature, is adversely affecting the society in sub-continent countries and it should be blocked in Pakistan.
A citizen, belonging to Nowshera district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, filed a complaint against the social media app on Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Citizen Portal App, which is created in October last year with an aim to “timely address the problems of the people and get their feedback”, was quick to forward the complaint to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
Reason Behind The Tik Tok why it will be banned?
Tik Tok has been banned in Pakistan due to the shameful acts of the young generation by making shameful tik tok videos. People has been addicted to this tik tok disease. People are crazy about tik tok videos around the world but it is not good for the young generation specially in Islamic countries like Pakistan where it is considered as a sin.
Someone has reported about tik tok app to “Pakistan Citizen Portal”. PCP is a Pakistan Government app which is created for the solution of the local problems. So a person reported about Tik Tok app to PCP and they took this matter at high priority that is why they are banning this app from 10th January 2019.
but it was not banned on 10th January 2019
This app will shut down completely and no one will be able to access this app from Pakistan but now the problem is how can Gov. stop people to use this app through proxies and VPN because everyone in Pakistan knows that how to remove ban from these blocked sites and apps so this is very serious matter.
How can we stop people from using Tik Tok by Proxies and VPN
Applying normal ban is not a permanent solution. Government should report about this matter to the official Tik Tok developers team directly through international mediums. Ask them to deactivate downloading of this app to Pakistani users and restrict this app from play store.
This is the only permanent solution to get rid from tik tok addiction otherwise people will not stop to use this app from proxies and different free vpn because everyone knows about that and there are many proxies and vpn networks which are freely available in the market. People can easily use these sources so it is better to follow this permanent solution.
